The Way To Become One With The Universe

If you've been to a yoga class, meditation or manifestation session, there's a good chance you probably heard your teacher saying "trust the Universe". And I think there's even better chance that you had absolutely no idea what the hell she/he was talking about...

My wild guess is that you spent the rest of your class wondering when will the Universe start talking to you or what signs you should be looking for and didn't dare to ask anyone what seemed so clear and obvious to your fellow students just in case you got judged. At least, that's how I used to feel.

But to clarify the first thing first. Your yoga class should be a safe zone that supports and inspires you and your practice. There's no place for ego or judgement. If you don't feel like you can freely approach anyone, whether your teacher or other students, then you're probably in a wrong class.

Now, let me shed a bit of light on the "trust the Universe" phrase.

As you probably know the whole purpose of practicing yoga as a system is to become one with the Universe. It's the unity, oneness, wholeness and connection you may begin to experience during your meditation. Given you reach this higher state of consciousness, you inevitably become one with the Universe, being aware of the one universal energy that is represented in you, me and all around us.

So, if you and the Universe are one, then to 'trust the Universe' essentially means finding a way to trust yourself, right?!?

And when you share the same super powers and energy with the Universe then you're just a step away from manifesting miracles in your life, going deeper to the source and creating something beyond your wildest expectations.

Spirituality is not some external goal that one must seek, but a part of the divine core of each of us, which we must reveal.
— B.K.S. Iyengar

I know it works because I've been consciously 'trusting the Universe aka myself' for the last few years now. While it's taken me a lot of practice and patience and shedding off the moments of self-doubts and fears have been present more often than I'd like to admit, the sense of ultimate freedom, contentment and awareness that I'm going to be just fine is greater than you can imagine.

The Universal concept of 'trusting yourself' is to simply believe that you were put on this planet for a reason. Whether it's to share your greatness and talents with the world, make a difference in people's live by offering support and compassion, pulling out extra strength to protect your child or creating an abundance in your own life or those of your loved ones, you hold an unlimited potential within yourself.

You know you're in good hands and can trust yourself because you're not going to let yourself down. The Universe just wouldn't have it otherwise!
