YOGA + ENERGY: BALANCE YOUR ELEMENTS

In this workshop we will explore the five cosmic elements – space, air, fire, water and earth – how they represent specific types of energy that affect our physical, mental and emotional being and when out of balance they make us face a variety of challenges in our life. 

Getting a better understanding of how this energy shapes our nature and influences our wellbeing is essential to develop our unique yoga practice and to gain practical tools to assist our internal transformation that supports our self-healing and self-realization.

Using the wisdom of Ayurveda, the oldest complete system of natural health care, you will determine which of the five cosmic elements influences your physiology in the present moment and we will then focus on balancing these elements in your chakras, the energy centers in your body, that are associated with them.

You will be able to form a powerful foundation through a combined work of asanas (yoga postures), pranayama (breathing techniques) and mantras (sacred sounds) that are specific to your unique constitution and together with energy body work, guided meditation and relaxation help enhance the wellbeing of your body, mind and spirit.
