I'm feeling incredibly honoured to be teaming up with Himalayan Homes Trust Fund - a collaboration that not only embodies all of the values I deeply believe in, it also gives me an opportunity to connect with and support a wonderful community in the country that greatly influenced my yoga practice as a student as well as a teacher.
To commemorate the first anniversary of the devastating earthquake in Nepal in May 2015, we would love to invite you for an evening of meditation, mindfulness and prayer to share, connect and help raise more funds for the Himalayan Homes Trust Fund.
- We will be offering a free refreshment at the end of the evening to help you soak in the special atmosphere even further and you'll be able to enjoy a rare Himalayan Tea from Nepal as well as some delicious homemade cookies.
- You'll be also treated to a sample of Himalayan Blend Bath & Body Oil created especially for the meditation evening and a traditional incense handmade in Nepal.
- There'll be also a chance to buy our beautiful Turquoise Meditation Mala Beads or you can purchase the mala here now.
- The tickets start at £12.50 and are available online or on the door (other donation suggestions also available). It's a fundraising event and 100% profits from the evening will go to Himalayan Homes Trust Fund supporting the victims of the earthquake that Nepal suffered in 2015.
The Himalayan Homes Trust was created by sisters, Jenny Sherpa and Joanne Carrigan, in response to the two devastating Earthquakes that literally shook the Himalayan Kingdom of Nepal in 2015, killing almost 10,000 people, and leaving thousands homeless. With this in mind, the sole purpose of the trust is to raise money to help the remote Himalayan communities rebuild their homes using an eco, sustainable, low cost and relatively quake resistant building technique.
